ERIE, Pennsylvania - February 21, 2012 – A relocation is on the horizon for top Pennsylvania architectural products manufacturing corporation, Kane Manufacturing, with locations in Kane and Erie.  The across-town move for administrative and engineering staff from two Kane, PA locations into a single space is tentatively scheduled for late-June 2012.

News of the move comes on the heels of Kane Manufacturing’s recent acquisition of the Chestnut Street Elementary School in Kane.  Kane Manufacturing plans to convert the space into a central hub for office employees, while manufacturing plants continue to operate at their current locations off North Fraley Street.  The Erie, PA office and plant remain unaffected at present.

One large, open office space, two conference rooms and several private offices are being worked into the new configuration.  Additional classrooms will be available for rent to commercial tenants, with the lower level already being utilized by non-profit, school-related groups.

 “Ultimately, this new facility was purchased with our customers in mind,” said Dean Campbell, President of Kane Manufacturing.  “We look forward to expanding our capabilities, increasing the power of our performance and bringing our customer satisfaction to higher levels than ever before.”
