Main Frame
- 16-gauge 1" x 1" seamless welded galvanized steel tubing
- High strength die cast metal corners are pneumatically inserted into the frame ends with an interference fit
- Removable face plate, extruded 6063-T6 aluminum, .062-inch thick .212 lbs./ft. is attached to the sides of the main frame using square drive Tek screws. The faceplate corner bead integrates with the sub-frame to conceal the hardware and fasteners.
Sub Frame
- Channel design, extruded of 6063-T6-aluminum, .515 lbs./ft., .090 inch thick.
- Corners are mitered and secured by an internal tension coupling assembly and shall be resistant to both torsion and flexural failure.
- The sub-frame has a continuous groove retaining a combination cushioning strip/insect shield.
- The depth of the sub-frame is 1 3/4"
Infill Attachment
- Panels are attached to the mainframe with hex-head Tek Screws.
- Wire cloth is hemmed 180 degrees and retained by Hex-head Tek Screws.
- Hex-head Tek screws penetrate the infill and main frame at approximately 4" on center.
Emergency Egress Release
- Screens have two steel latches, which operate simultaneously from a Roto-Lift™ emergency release. Each Roto-Lift™ is outfitted with a secure spring-loaded activator to rotate the inhibitor allowing the steel latches to open. When activated, the steel latches simultaneously release and the screen opens for instant egress. No plastic parts will be accepted.
- Screens have a tamper shield installed at the emergency release to protect the screen hardware from exterior tampering.
- Optional lock: Exterior mounted, keyed cam lock
Hardware
- Screen have two or more concealed 13-gauge, electroplated steel hinges with 1/4" diameter hardened, loose stainless steel pins and integral compression guards.
- Screen are .062-inch thick 3/4" x 1" aluminum scribes at the head and jambs if required.
- Screens come fully assembled and tested from the factory.

- Perforated panels are retained by a removable barrier back rail and tamper resistant screws.
- Tamper resistant screws penetrate the barrier back rail, perforated panel and barrier frame at approximately 6" on center.

- Barriers operate through a single point release mechanism. When the egress release is activated, a sliding planar motion frees the barrier from the frame retention members allowing an outward pivoting motion opening the panel.
- Barriers have a tamper shield installed at the emergency release to prevent tampering of the release mechanism from the exterior

- Barriers have two clevis hinge pins to provide tracking when the barrier is opened
